Travelling “back to the future” and working with both Brand and Property we were engaged to help reinvent retail banking formats for Westpac’s regional, suburban and city locations. Only a short time had passed since globally banks had pulled back from the high street, cut staff numbers and divested decision making to centralised faceless centres.
This project was about changing all that, returning to the high street, becoming more local and reinstating the bank manager as an important and respected member of the community. By challenging everything our work has delivered measurably higher sales and customer satisfaction standards than any previous formats and is now being rolled out nationally.
