Ned’s-Bake in South Yarra is a specialist bakery and café in South Yarra. Ned bakes all day so your bread is fresh and warm on the way home. You can buy it by the loaf, the half loaf, quarter loaf, or simply by the slice.

There is no back of house at Ned’s, unless you include the racking suspended above some seating where bags of flour are stored. Nothing is hidden, not the master baker, nor his job sheet, written on the wall; not the ovens or the cooling racks and tables, nor the open kitchen that

serves the café or the central preparation and finishing room. The café seating wraps itself around this core and into nooks and crannies, and bakers and floor staff walk from side to side through it to undertake their flourishing activity.

“Five to Try: Melbourne’s Best New Cafes: From a sleek bakery in South Yarra to a 1950s deli-inspired spot in Ascot Vale, here are some places to try this weekend.”

– Broadsheet Melbourne

"After working with Mark for a few years on the T2 Brand I knew he was the only person for the job as he knows how to break the rules and create a unique space for team and customer to enjoy for many years to come. Since opening only 6 months ago we have been listed in top 20 Breakfast spots in Melbourne by “Broadsheet” and “The Sunday Age”. We are full from morning to night and are considering our second site in Melbourne."
